Introduction to Printmaking for adults

Saturday 29 July

11am-1pm Third session.

This three-part Introduction to Printmaking course led by Janine Davidson, artist and master printmaker will explore a variety of printmaking techniques with participants also taking take time to look at some of the artworks currently on view in the gallery which may inspire some of our subject matter. The course is suitable for beginners and those with previous experience and materials are provided.

Fee: €75, materials are provided. No experience necessary and advanced booking required.

Janine Davidson is an arts educator and curator with an international profile. Over the past two decades, she has established international networks and developed a career as an arts educator committed to engaging the wider public in visual arts practice in Ireland and abroad. She is a master-printmaker, member of the Blackchurch Print Studio, At Home Studios and the Hugh Lane Gallery panel of artists, guides and lecturers. She teaches photo-etching at the Blackchurch Print Studio. She has also worked with the CDETB for over 19 years devising and facilitating adult education programmes as well as intensive post -primary projects.
