About this event

NStEP’s Introductory Class Rep Training is designed to introduce new reps to key concepts and practical tools to help them succeed in their role. Hundreds of student representatives across Ireland participate every year, and 97% say they would recommend the training to other reps!

Training covers four key areas:

• student engagement and partnership in the context of the student rep role

• the Student Learning Experience tool, and how it can be used to gather and evaluate feedback from your class

• the class rep feedback cycle

• strategies for communicating feedback effectively

This training session is for undergraduate class reps and will be led by Seán Whelan, one of NStEP's student trainers. Click here to meet our experienced team of student trainers.

This training session will be held online using Zoom. A link to the Zoom meeting will be provided to the email address provided by registering on Eventbrite. The online training room will open on Zoom 10 minutes before the start time.

All student reps who complete the training will be awarded an NStEP Recognition Award. This will be emailed to you using the email address that you provide through eventbrite when registering. We will also use this to contact you about future training opportunities and online resources.
