The Irish Academy of Management are delighted to present the Distinguished International Scholar Series, and to announce the inaugural Scholar, Professor Thomas Kochan of the MIT Sloan School of Management.

We extend our warm welcome to Professor Kochan, who will discuss ‘The Changing World of Work and Employment’ in conversation with Professor Bill Roche, Full Professor of Industrial Relations and Human Resources at the School of Business, University College Dublin.

Professor Kochan is one of the world’s leading scholars of work and employment. His work focuses on the need to update America’s work and employment policies, institutions, and practices to catch up with a changing workforce and economy. His recent publications include Shaping the Future of Work: A Handbook for Action and a New Social Contract (Routledge, 2020).
