The Irish Association for Simulation Symposium Galway 2020

About this Event

The Irish Association for Simulation's Galway 2020 Symposium will take place on the 27th April 2020 at the Institute for Lifecourse and Society, National University of Ireland, Galway.

The theme this year is 'Healthcare Simulation Supporting Patient Safety and Quality Improvement' , with keynotes from Prof. Tanja Manser and Dr. David Vaughan

Registration is now open for the conference. Full day attendance for this event is €100. Tea/coffee and lunch will be provided.

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are invited.

Please note the word limit for abstract submissions is 250 words.

Oral presentations will be approximately 7 minutes each, followed by 3 minutes for questions and discussion. Poster presentations will be delivered as e-posters (single landscape PowerPoint slide submitted as a PDF). Each poster presenter will have approximately 3 minutes to communicate the key ideas from the poster, followed by 2 minutes for questions. Please note that the dimension of your single PowerPoint slide is to be 16:9 ratio, which is landscape. Closing date for abstract submission is Monday, 15 March 2020 at 5 pm.

Attendees of the event will be eligible for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points.
