About this event
The fourth annual Irish Film Festival, hosted by the Embassy of Ireland in Thailand will take place in Bangkok this November. The festival will show two feature films Nocebo (2022) and Dating Amber (2020) and documentary Steps of Freedom: The Story of Irish Dance (2022) at House Samyan, Bangkok.

Nocebo is a psychological thriller from about a fashion designer is suffering from a mysterious illness that puzzles her doctors and frustrates her husband, until help arrives in the form of a Filipino carer, who uses traditional folk healing to reveal a horrifying truth. Starring Eva Green (Casino Royale, Sin City, 300), Mark Strong (RocknRolla, Sherlock Holmes) and Chai Fonancier.
Dating Amber is a coming-of-age comedy drama about two closeted teenagers, Eddie and Amber, who fake a relationship in order to stop all the speculation around them.
Steps of Freedom: The Story of Irish Dance is a performance-based documentary that follows the evolution of Irish dance from humble origins to present-day global phenomenon.
