On behalf of the INS we would like to invite you to this year’s Annual Scientific Meeting at the RCPI, Kildare St., Dublin on 31st March 2017.

This year’s meeting will bring together a distinguished faculty of experts, specialising in nephrology, to gain insights into the latest breakthroughs in scientific research into kidney disease, as well as updates on current clinical nephrology practice by both leading Irish and International scientists.

Topics will include: Translational sessions on glomerular disease, The Haemodialysis Dependency Study, Ethical issues surrounding transplantation.



Plenary sessions will be presented by both National and International speakers including:

Dr Carla Nester, Director Paediatric Glomerular Disease Clinic, University of Iowa

Professor Liz Lightstone, Professor of Renal Medicine, Imperial College London

Dr Ronan Collins, Director of Stroke Services, Tallaght Hospital

Dr Liam Plant, National Clinical Director, NRO

All related specialities are invited to submit abstracts for a poster and oral presentation by 5pm Wednesday 1st March Email submissions to: irishnephrologysociety@gmail.com

Prizes for Best Clinical Science Presentation, Best Basic Science Presentation Best Medical Student / Intern Presentation-

The INS / Amgen Research Bursary 2017 will be awarded at the meeting.



Registration for the meeting will be available online at an early bird rate of €50. Onsite registration will be €70 on the day-we would urge early registration. Medical Students will be admitted free of charge. Please contact Ruth Walshe ruth@medevents.ie to request a complimentary admission in this case.
