Description

DCU Research and Innovation Support Office will host an information session on the upcoming IRC COALESCE (Collaborative Alliances for Societal Challenges) call on Thursday, 21st of June, at 2 pm in Room E223, St.Patrick's Campus, DCU.

This call will be of particular interest to academics conducting research on the national and European/global societal challenges as set out in the national and European strategies for research and development such as Innovation 2020, National Planning Framework (Ireland 2040), Horizon 2020 and the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development. The call is run in partnership with a number of government departments and agencies and consists of a number of strands including a national challenge-based strand, specific strands in partnership with government departments, an open call inter-disciplinary strand requiring AHSS-STEM collaboration, a strand in partnership with Irish Aid.
