At the Irish Social Enterprise Network, our Speaker Series resumes on 7 May 2015. We are delighted to let you know that our guest speaker will be Canadian social entrepreneur Kyle Dube from Edmonton Alberta. Kyle manages YouCan youth services that works with at-risk young people. We have asked Kyle to talk about Verto, YouCan's social enterprise venture that employs young people in supervised work crews and helps them get into mainstream employment. In 2014 Verto was expecting to hire 150 young people and to turnover around Can$600,000.
As ever, this is an informal style event. We are not charging a ticket fee but will seek contributions to venue costs and refreshments on the night. We look forward to seeing you there!
