About this event

You are invited to join our Walk and Talk event on the 16th of October as part of our week long celebration for National & International Stammering Awareness.

Location: Royal Canal, Dublin

Meeting Point: 12pm, Sunday October 16th at Ashtown Train Station, Dublin

Getting there from the Dublin area using public transport: Buy a return train ticket from Dublin Connolly to Clonsilla. Catch the train from Dublin Connolly and hop off at the Ashtown stop. We’ll walk to Clonsilla and will catch the return train from there. For other public transport options please see

Length of Walk: Approx. 2 hours.

What is the Walk and Talk? This will be a social gathering and will provide an opportunity for those who stammer, their family and friends, or those with an interest in stammering to Walk and Talk as they walk along some of the most picturesque sections of the famous Royal Canal.

As the group will walk for approx. 2 hours, it is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
