A fun-filled, jam-packed mix of creative arts, drama, cartooning, music, song-writing, mindfulness and games with a day trip on Friday 7th! The ISAYiT! summer camp is for young people who stammer aged 8-18 years.
Tickets are €75 for the week including entrance fees for the day trip.
Please get in touch if you need financial assistance with the ticket cost, as this should not be a barrier to participating in the camp.
About the camp
Each day begins at 10am and the day finishes at 2.30pm. We will have break and lunch together to keep your energy up for all the fun, creative activities we've planned for you!
Who are the camp facilitators?
Jonathon Linklater, Aisling Keogh, and Penny Farrell from the Irish Stammering Association will facilitate the camp and run drama activities. There are 4 creative youth arts workshops run by our guest artists:
Kim Jenkins - children's artist. Kim will run an art and painting workshop.
Daniele Rossi - graphic artist and cartoonist from Canada. Daniele is a person who stutters and creator of Franky Banky comics and books. He will join via Zoom to run a cartooning workshop!
Georgina Dunlevy - ISA's Education & Employment Officer and also a yoga teacher. Georgina will run a mindfulness workshop.
Chiara Clear - music therapist. Chiara will run a song-writing and music workshop.
Check out this narration of a cartoon by Niamh that she made after joining the ISA comic workshop with Daniele in February, to get a flavour of what to expect!

There will be a pre-event meeting on Zoom on Thursday 15th June at 6pm to get to know each other and chat about the creative activities planned for the camp. That means you'll know the others going to the camp and will feel more comfortable joining us on the first day! We will also discuss the options for the day trip on Friday 7th July at this meeting!
This event is supported by funding from the National Youth Council Ireland, The Arts Council and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
