Launch of CDI and HSE Talk to your Baby Cube
Tuesday 13th December 10am—1pm
Trinity Institute of Population Health, Russell Building, Tallaght Cross, Dublin 24
Babies are born ready to connect and interact. Most babies respond immediately when spoken to if it is done appropriately, laying the foundations for connection and later attachment.
Join us at our Baby Chat: Relationships, Language, and Technoference event on the 13th of December to hear Robin Balbernie discuss why talking to babies is a lot more critical than you think and how infant-directed speech has a ‘communicative musicality, which is helpful in parent-baby interactions.
It starts with Baby Chat will look at the advantages of responsive early relationships for babies, and how a parent talks and interacts with the baby is crucial to this early bonding.
This is an innovative evidence-based training/networking event for early childhood professionals, working with children aged 0 to 3 years.
We are delighted to welcome Robin Balbernie as our Keynote Speaker. He is a well-regarded infant mental health specialist.
