This 5-session Wednesday morning course is suitable for those that have completed our Italian for Beginners course and for those that already have basic Italian language skills. In our Italian courses language and culture are taught in an enjoyable and communicative way.

Some basic knowledge of Italian is required and throughout the 5 week period students typically note an increase in their confidence in understanding and speaking the language.

The course is certified and students are able to follow up and share their progress with their peers through future courses at LSA and informal contact with their peers.

Tutor Nicola, has travelled extensively in Italy and has written novels set there, has a Degree in Italian, but as she says herself, she found it very difficult to learn from an Italian speaker. 'They spoke too fast for me,' she said. 'I felt completely inept and thought there was no way I was ever going to pick up the language.' However, Nicola has structured a class where she teaches her students in a fun way without having to delve through verbs and adjectives.
