JC Music – "What will we be asked"? - Assessment in Junior Cycle Music

About this event

This webinar will look at the 36 Learning outcomes and explore the possible ways that these Learning Outcomes could be assessed in a Written Exam. We will also look at these Learning Outcomes and how they can be related to the Practical and CBA elements of the course.

Presenter: Nathan Barrett

Bio: Nathan Barrett is an experienced Music teacher and teaches in Alexandra College Dublin. He has a Bachelor of Music (BMus) from Ulster University, a Masters in Education (MEd) from Trinity College Dublin and a Professional Diploma in Advanced Music Theory and Practice. He has acted as a Choral Facilitator for JCT and examined for the SEC. Nathan has worked with many ensembles as a conductor and has composed music for choirs and chamber music. He is a member of the Irish Composers Collective and the author of Maestro from Educate.ie.
