Job quality in Irish Construction - TASC CIOB Report Launch
Event Information
About this Event
With construction output much slowed in 2020, house prices are set to rise again. The beginning of 2021 has seen most building projects brought to a halt. When the lockdown ends construction, like other sectors, is set to restart. It is as important now as it ever has been that the sector provides quality jobs.
TASC has partnered with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) to investigate working conditions in the Irish construction sector.
We are delighted to announce the launch of a new report, Job Quality in the Construction Sector. The report examines various aspects of job quality and working conditions.
Robert Sweeney, Senior Policy Analyst at TASC will present the findings.
He will be joined by
- Minister Darragh O'Brien, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage
- Joseph Kilroy, Ireland Policy and Public Affairs, CIOB
- Michelle O'Sullivan, University of Limerick
Please join us on Wednesday 21 April at 11am.
A Zoom access link will be provided closer to the event day.
