Well what a night we had last January when Spillane returned to the Tav after an absence of nearly 10 years, to a sold out show, joined by the wonderful Pauline Scanlon. Pauline, now famous for her Bird On The Wire interpretations of Leonard Cohen songs is now established as one of the great Irish singers of our time and her gossamer like voice has often featured on classic John Spillane albums from the past.

Lapwing Nation features producer John Reynolds on drums, the superb Claire Kenny on bass and their chief accomplice Graham Kearns on electric guitar. This London musical mafia trio have featured in the past on the music of Sinead O' Connor, Damien Dempsey and other greats.

100 Snow White Horses is a collection of new Spillane classics that are rich in Irish mythology and wonder, poetry and melody and this will be the first time the album is performed live.
