Join Herbalists John and Isabel for a herb walk and talk on the 25th of September, where John will talk about the herbs encountered on the herb walk and Isabel will talk about the role of local herbs in promoting and maintaining your health at Sonairte
Come learn about some of your local herbs and how they can help you promote and maintain your health. Isabel will talk about local herbs and how they can be used at home.
About John Maher:
John Maher FIRH, RH (AHG)
John is a member of the Irish Register of Herbalists and is currently the projects officer for the association. He is the project manager and co-ordinator for St. Anne’s Physic Garden in Raheny which is home to over 200 medicinal plants.
John is actively involved in groups and associations supporting herbal medicine.
About Isabel Fanning:
Isabel Fanning, MIRH, Dipl. Herb., RPHN, RGN
Isabel has accumulated a wealth of insight into the different approaches to healthcare from working as a nurse within healthcare systems in Ireland, Germany and the US. It is through this experience she recognised the value of different approaches to health.
She received her certification as a clinical Herbalist in 2017 and practices Herbal Medicine at Royal Herbs, Trim, Co. Meath. Isabel is passionate about herbs and is a volunteer at St. Anne’s Physic Garden in Clontarf. She is an active member of groups and associations supporting Herbal Medicine in Ireland. Isabel is a member of the Irish Register of Herbalists.

This course runs with a minimum attendance of 8 people. Sonairte reserves the right to cancel the event if minimum attendance is not met or in the case of changing health regulations relating to COVID-19.
