One of Dublin's favourite music series, Kaleidoscope, ushers in its 7th year with a gala event in the city's Unitarian Church. Taking full advantage of the larger venue, curators Karen Dervan and Lioba Petrie, have programmed two seminal works in the string and woodwind canon- John Adams' "Shaker Loops" and Mozart's "Gran Partita" Serenade No. 10. Framing these works are two iconic forces in Ireland's choral and jazz scenes, New Dublin Voices, with works by a number of Irish composers, conducted by Bernie Sherlock, and Francesco Turrisi with The Taquin Experiments, namely Kate Ellis (cello), Nick Roth (saxophones), Dan Bodwell (bass) & Matthew Jacobson (drums).
