This Heritage Week, we are delighted to welcome archivist Jonny Dillon to the Irish Family History Centre. Visiting us from the National Folklore Collection, Jonny will be giving a fascinating talk on the Collection's varied and wonderful holdings. It will be a true testament to the importance of preserving our cultural heritage, and a real celebration of our rich and vibrant history!

About Jonny:

Jonny Dillon works as an archivist at the National Folklore Collection, University College Dublin, one of the largest repositories of folkloric material in Europe and which was, in December 2017, inscribed in the UNESCO ‘Memory of the World' register. Jonny produces and co-hosts the Collection's monthly podcast Blúiríní Béaloidis and is a research editor for the National Folklore Collection's online platform Dúchas.ie.
