___
Galway-born Singer-Songwriter Kevin Neary is recognised for his unique sound that celebrates exploring an eclectic mix of genres such as Soul, RnB, Acoustic, Pop, Folk and Rock. He can be likened in style to artists such as Dermot Kennedy, Hozier, Matt Corby, Gavin James, Paulo Nutini, and Tom Odell.
From humble busking roots, he grew his musicianship on the streets of Galway and Dublin.
He honed his multi-instrumental abilities to create a unique live band show, playing across Ireland (Whelan's, Workman's, The Button Factory, The Roisín Dubh), and the UK (Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club (London), The Bedford (London))
Hot off his sold-out debut headline show in Whelan's in Nov. 2019, Neary sold out a further 2 consecutive shows in Dublin in 2020 in Workman's, selling them out within two days of their announcement.
He was spotted at a session in Dublin by The Greatest Showman's iconic singer Keala Settle, and a performance of his song "Man of Faith" appeared on her Instagram, where she commended his singing ability and performance.
Kevin released his debut single; pop-rock anthem "Take Me Anywhere" in 2020, receiving great recognition from numerous Irish radio stations and blogs, with Spin 103.8 awarding it track of the week.
Neary followed up with sophomore release "Hopelessly True", which was received very positively throughout Irish radio; its highlight feature being on RTÉ Radio 1, where the station complimented the song's accomplished sound and featured it on their weekly recommends list for March 2021.
The independently-directed animated music video for the song also made a large impact across media, premiering on Hot Press and Golden Plec, headlining the Music section of RTÉ's website and receiving a whole page feature on the Connacht Tribune and Galway Advertiser.
