Lecture

Visiting artist Kit Paulson, describes her recent body of work as a eulogy for ornament and a testament to generations of human skill. She believes handmade ornament to be a visible accretion of human time. Paulson is currently artist-in-residence at Penland School of Crafts. She has completed a Rosenberg Residency, at Salem State University and the Tacoma Museum of Glass Residency in Seattle. She has exhibited her work internationally and is published in New Glass Review; editions 36, 37 and 38. Paulson received an MFA from Southern Illinois University and a BFA from Alfred University.
