Knitting for colour, texture and structure (8-week course)

If you are comfortable with the techniques and skills listed in the Beginners course, this is the follow-on course for you.

Covered includes:

· Colour e.g. stranded wool – e.g. Fair isle/Jacquard, Intarsia, stripes, double knitting

· Knitting in the round – circular needles and DPNs

· Beginnings and endings - tubular cast on/bind off, Kitchener stitch, longtail k/p cast-on

· Texture, e.g. Brioche stitch, Aran knitting, linen stitch

· Patterns and charts

Each booking date is the first of an eight-week course.

The next course runs from 14:00-15:30 on Saturdays on the following dates:

January 17, 24, 31

February 7, 14, 21, 28

March 7

Price includes site booking charges and a basic knitting kit.

Free parking on site.
