"A Taxi Driver" (2017)

Based on a real-life story of a German hournalist Jurgen Hinzpeter, who recorded and informed the world about the Gwangu Uprising in 1980, and his interations with a taxi driver "Kim Sa-Bok."Synopsis: Kim Man-seob is a taxi driver in Seoul. He sees people and students protesting the government on the streets recently. After his long day, he puts his daughter to sleep and counts his earnings for the day as he listens to the radio. He hears the govenment announce a National Curfew, and complains he will have less customers because of it. One day, he overhears another taxi driver talking about "a foreign client who has booked him for a round trip worth 100,000won(or roughly 565 USD) to travel to Gwangju for the day and return to Seoul before curfew." Man-seob succeeds in stealing this client, who is a German journalist "Peter," and heads off to Gwangju. All the roads leading to Gwangju are blocked and barricated, but Man-seob is determined to bring Peter into Gwangju to get his taxi fee. They arrive in Gwangju, and with the help of local University student and citizen, Peter begins to record his observations on his camera. As the situation in Gwangju gets worse, Man-seob becomes more worried about his daughter alone in Seoul.

"Assassination" (2015)

Synopsis: Set during Japan's rule over Korea, in Shanghai and Seoul, 1933, about the resistance fighters, members of the Provisional Government, and the assassins. The Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea sets an assassination plan to take out General Kawaguchi Mamoru of the Japanese army in Korea, and a pro-Japanese business man Kang In-guk. Yeom Seok-Jin (Lee, Jung-Jae) is an agent from the provisional government who plans out the details and gives the assassination order to three agents who are unknowed to the Japanese : Sniper Ok-Yoon (Jun, Jihyun), an ex-military officer Soksapo (Cho Jin-Woong), and explosive expert Hwang Deok-Sam (Choi Duk-Moon).Meanwhile, the Japanese hire a contract killer "Hawaii Pistol" (Ha, Jung-woo) and his partner Younggam(Oh, Dal-su)to take out Ok-Yoon and her assiassination team.

"A Hard Day" (2014)

Synopsis: On his mother's funeral day, corrupt detective Ko Kun-su(Lee, Sun-kyun) is informed that his squad is being investigated by internal affairs for bribery. As he rushes out, he accidentally hits a homeless man with his car, killing him. Afraid that he will be charged with manslaughter and drunk driving, he hides the body where no one will search - inside his mother's coffin. Luckily, the internal investigation on his squad is cancelled. However, his squad is assigned to arrest a wanted murderer named Less, who is revealed to be the homeless man he killed. To make matters worse, a mysterious person(Cho, Jin-woong) blackmails Ko that he had seen him hit and kill the homelss man.
