LABORATORY workshop: Observe/Research/Test

OBSERVE: A guided tour and explanation of our LABORATORY of textile works in the exhibition, consisting of textile slides, petri dishes, and specimens, by some of our exhibiting student artists.

RESEARCH: Collaborative writing/drawing exercise to examine your plant/animal, and find key ideas for testing.

TEST: Create several textile petri dish-tests based on your examination, using drawing, stitch, and collage. Materials provided.
Please bring the following items with you:

Plant or animal part (shell/insect/bone) that interests you.

Scissors, sewing needles, and drawing materials.
This workshop is not suitable to children under the age of 12 unless they are participating with an adult.
