From February to August, 2021, People's Transition pilot projects will take place in two pioneering communities, supported by AIB.

The People's Transition is a participative decision-making approach developed by TASC that views climate action as an enabler of local development. It gives people and communities a voice in, and ownership of, the transition to a safe and sustainable future. It aims to enhance public support for climate action by tackling inequality, building local wealth and raising standards of living through the delivery of climate solutions.

Join us this Thursday to mark the launch of the projects in Ardara and Phibsborough. We will be joined by a resident from each of the communities:

• Ardara resident Lauren McHugh, business woman and artist
• Phibsborough resident Daniel Lambert, COO of Bohemian FC

We will also be joined by:

• Rose Wall, Community Law and Mediation
• Dr. Áine Macken-Walsh, Teagasc

Áine O'Gorman of Stop Climate Chaos will join to explain how the lessons learned from the pilot projects will be shared to other communities around Ireland.
