About this Event
There are 2 parts to Le Déluge
Before the day:
Follow Pete Casby’s online DIY videos, where he teaches you how to make your own super soakers using waste and materials that are easily to hand. You can follow the instructions exactly or use them as inspiration to create your own water-wielding invention. www.youtube.com/CiotogTV
On the day:
Bring your hand-made water-weapon. No shop bought plastic soakers allowed!
In your family/social bubble team, take part in a 1 hour maker session with Pete Casby to manufacture your own weaponry of water, followed by an an epic water battle royale and games on the beach, led by the Captain of Coordinated Chaos. Your team will put your hydro-ballistic creations through their paces in a series of individual and team challenges.
A willingness to get wet and a determination to get everyone else wetter are essential qualities for success.
There are only 4 family teams per session, and each team will have their own maker space and water-fight area. We will be following Covid-19 safety guidelines for physical distancing and sanitising.
This is an all-weather occasion, and will take place rain or shine. Whether it's water from a super-soaker or the sky, you'll be getting wet!
Children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult in their group.
Best suited for children aged 7+.
Advance booking is essential.
