About this Event

The STEM Education Team at Trinity College Dublin are pleased to invite you to participate in the national conference: “Leadership in STEM Education at Primary Level”, scheduled on Thursday, 30th April, 2020 at the Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin.

The conference is a cross-organisation collaboration with involvement from: Trinity College Dublin, PDST, Irish Association for Primary Science Education (IAPSE), Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) - funded outreach projects and Heritage Ireland amongst others.

The keynote speaker for the conference will be Professor Colette Murphy, Director of STEM Education Research and Communication at Trinity College Dublin & a co-founder of (IAPSE), Irish Association for Primary Science Education.

Workshop content will include an exploration of cost-free: CPD programmes, teaching resources, funding & outreach opportunities. A panel discussion regarding potential future benefits for schools will also take place.

This conference is being organised in response to the findings from our recent national survey on ‘Leadership in STEM Education at Primary Level’ and a copy of the findings report from the study will also be provided for all attendees.

Thanks to our sponsors, participation in the conference will be free of charge. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for all participants.

Principals have been consulted throughout the organisation process to ensure that the content will be relevant and useful for conference participants.
