"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference."—Robert Frost
The 2016 Léargas Forum celebrates the benefits of involvement in European programmes; to individuals, to organisations and to communities. In the 30 years since Léargas was established we have supported hundreds of organisations to take part in European exchange, and we want to celebrate the diverse roads that have been travelled and the difference it has made.
- Performance by UCD Bord na Gaeilge
- Keynote address from Professor Maurice Devlin, Maynooth University
- Thematic Workshops:
First steps: A Beginner’s Guide to Opportunities with Léargas
Are you new to the work of Léargas and the idea of European cooperation in general? Learn about the goals and structure of the programmes we manage, and identify a starting point for you and your organisation.
Suitable for: Everybody.
Stepping Out: Small-scale Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships
‘Strategic Partnerships’ can sound daunting, but this Key Action can also support smaller-scale projects with a short duration and limited number of partners. Find out how a smaller-scale KA2 project could benefit your organisation; brainstorm project ideas; and begin work on an organisational development plan.
Suitable for: Erasmus+ KA2 project practitioners from Adult Education, School Education and Youth fields.
Stepping Up: Maximising Mobility with Erasmus+ KA1
Do you want to make the most of Erasmus+ KA1 in your organisation? Learn how to plan strategically and use different types of mobility in your project; and see how others have successfully increased mobility numbers and embedded project work into their organisations.
Suitable for: Erasmus+ KA1 project practitioners from all fields.
Bring It All Back Home: Analysing the Impact of your Project
When we finish a project, how do we measure the distance travelled? Using the Erasmus+ Performance Framework and other impact tools, this workshop looks at how to identify indicators and evaluate project outcomes to understand the impact your project has had. Suitable for: Everybody.
