The Level 1 Qualification in Sports Leadership provides the ideal starting point for participants aged between 13 and 17 years old who wish to develop their leadership skills in Sport and Physical Activity.
The programme is designed to develop generic leadership skills that can be adapted to a variety of sport and physical activity settings as well as contributing to the personal development of the leader.
The Level 1 qualification is a practical award in which learners must demonstrate their ability to lead others in basic sports activity sessions. Each learner will also complete their Level 1 Sports Leadership logbook.
