About this event

Come join us for a social ramble through the 12 O’ Clock Hills in Co. Clare! All members of the LGBTI+ community are welcome. We’ll gather on Saturday December the 11th at the Belvoir Trailhead car park at 9.50am before taking off at 10am.

It’s expected it will take us two to two and a half hours to complete the route.

For those who want to socialise for longer - we can regroup after the walk in Bunratty at the Gilly and Joe’s outdoor seating area for coffee & cake!

In order to join this event you must be:

Over 18 years of age

In a fit physical condition, moderate fitness required for walk.

Also no dogs allowed – unfortunately we are not in a position to cater for them.

What To Bring:

A fully charged mobile phone

Small backpack

Face covering (in case of first aid requirement)

Boots or strong walking shoes

Waterproof jacket and trousers for wet weather

Several light layers of clothing are better than one heavy layer is it allows for flexibility

A change of shoes / clothing for when you get back to the car park

Organizer GOSHH - Gender Orientation Sexual Health HIV

Organizer of LGBTI+ Midwest Rambling Group (over18 only)

GOSHH is a charity which provides a safe, confidential, welcoming environment for everyone we work with.

Our office is based in Limerick City and we work throughout the Counties of Limerick, Clare, and North Tipperary. We focus on the promotion of equality and wellbeing of all with a positive and respectful approach to sexual orientation and gender diversity.

Formed in 1989, Limerick AIDS Alliance operated   until 1994 when the name changed to Red Ribbon Project reflecting the breadth of sexual health services provided throughout the Mid-West of Ireland. Gay Switchboard Limerick was founded in 1986 and became Rainbow Support Services in 2001 reflecting the wide variety of identities supported throughout the Mid-West of Ireland.

Both projects joined together in 2013 and became GOSHH in 2014.
