First Duathlon of 2022 For Liquid Motion Triathlon Club Members

This is an adult only event.

There will be a charge of €5.00 to be paid on the day

For anyone new to the event it consists of a 2k run, 15k bike and 4.5k run .

All based around the Great National Hotel ( Ramada ) on the Foxford road in Ballina.

The first run will take you 1km out the old foxford road to a turnaround point and back to transition.

Important . you must put your helmet on before you un-rack your bike , dont get on your bike until you cross the mount line

From here you will cycle the 2 loops, starting at the Great National, heading back towards the main ballina - foxford road , turning left at the t junction, head towards foxford and turn left just before Mount Falcon Hotel, coming back towards the Great National on the old foxford road, once you complete the second loop you can dismount your bike and start on the run.

Important . Get off the bike before the dismount line, Rack your bike before you remove your helmet .

The 2nd run is a 4.5km loop that starts with you heading off in the same direction as the first run , this time you ignore the turnaround point and continue on until you hit a t junction with the Ballina - Foxford road, turn right and run up the hill and back towards ballina, when you have Connollys car dealership on your left , you turn right and right again to bring you back towards the hotel and the finish line.
