About this event
The mission of LIR is to keep academic librarians informed about technological developments that affect their practice. This year, the LIR Annual Seminar will investigate the impact of cybersecurity attacks on libraries; we will consider business recovery and business continuity, as well as other relevant security approaches. We will hear from academic librarians and the colleagues, within and outside of our institutions, who support library security.

This page is for in-person attendance of the seminar. To attend the seminar virtually, please register at (VIRTUAL) LIR Annual Seminar & AGM.
Audio/audio-visual/image recordings and presenter presentations will be saved to a secure cloud server on behalf of LIR. The final product will be published on the LIR website or other suitable channel e.g. YouTube. The file will be hosted on a publicly accessible internet site and retained for as long as the content is required for access to the public. Retention is subject to periodic review.
