'Listen Now Again Live' is brought to you by the National Library of Ireland's exhibition 'Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again' at the Bank of Ireland Cultural and Heritage Centre on Westmoreland Street.
Taking place each Thursday until the end of September, the series commences on 11th July with a reading by award-winning actor Owen Roe, together with a performance from acclaimed musician Laoise O’Brien. The concert series reflects Seamus Heaney’s own love of the interplay of words and music by bringing together a range of creative practitioners. Other well-known performers in the series include journalist Olivia O’Leary, actors Adrian Dunbar and Stephen Rea, poetsTheo Dorgan and Paula Meehan, and harpist Tríona Marshall. Each concert will take place between 1pm and 1.45pm in the rotunda of the Bank of Ireland Cultural and Heritage Centre, Westmoreland Street, where the exhibition is housed.
