The course will include decision making on whats the most appropriate response, first aid to stabilize the animal and re-floating techniques. Practical session on the beach with whale pontoon and life sized whale and dolphin models.

IWDG accredited course open to all.

Cost is 30 euro for members or 50 euro for non-members

Participants should bring a wet or dry suit if intending to enter the water and a packed lunch.

Following this course participants will be aware of current best practice and hopefully have the confidence to make an informed decision if ever face to face with a beached whale or dolphin.
