Learn about the relationship between stress and pain in his lunchtime lecture series

About this event

Join us for this series of online events taking place at lunchtime each Tuesday and Friday over the next four weeks.

There are four episodes in the series:

  • Episode 1: Pain and the Brain - 16th & 19th November
  • Episode 2: Understanding Emotions - 23rd & 26th November
  • Episode 3: Emotional Regulation - 30th November & 3rd December
  • Episode 4: Building Self-Compassion - 7th & 10th December

Dr Clodagh Cremen is a Clinical Psychologist working in Beaumont Hospital as part of a Sláintecare Headache project which works in partnership with the Migraine Association of Ireland.

It aims to support people living with Headache and Migraine. This lecture series is suitable for anyone who would like to know more about the relationship between stress and pain.

Participants are encouraged to attend all of the lectures, however, may also attend those they find interesting.

This project has received funding from the Government of Ireland’s Sláintecare Integration Fund 2019

Organiser of Lunchtime Learning: The Psychology of Pain

The Migraine Association offers advice and support to migraine sufferers in Ireland and through its campaigning and advocacy works seeks to improve people’s understanding of the condition. We provide FREE seminars and self management courses to Migraine sufferers. In order to improve conditions in the workplace we also train employers, institutions and government agencies to improve their understanding and treatment of migraine sufferers. We also provide specialist training to GP’s and other health professionals.
