'Make Business Pay' is the first launch event for Step Up Ireland.

Step Up Ireland is a social enterprise that wants to empower adults with disabilities to start their own businesses as led by them. Step Up Ireland was selected as one of the Social entrepreneurs Ireland Academy attendees in 2019.

We at Step Up Ireland want to see real and meaningful change in Ireland today. This does not come from more of the same. It comes from innovative individuals and from persons that are not afraid to step outside the box and take risks.

One of the main issues that arises time and time again is the issue of the welfare trap. Many individuals with additional needs are afraid to start a business because of this. This is why we are hosting an event that aims to examine the welfare barriers to self employment. The aim of the event is to offer attendees a greater understanding of the barriers to self employment and therefore empower them to explore the idea of starting a business.

The event will run be led by founder and CEO of Step Up Ireland Eric Lambe and the team at Step Up Ireland.
