Family man, Mike McMahon loses his job and enters a filmmaking competition to win a big cash prize. With little talent and large ambitions, his efforts soon land him in hot water with both sides of the law.
MAKING IT is the opening night film at Kerry Film Festival and is an original feature-length comedy and was shot in and around Tralee and Listowel, Co Kerry.
It was produced by the National Digital Skills Centre at Kerry ETB and was directed by Eamonn Norris. The screenplay was written by Eamonn Norris and Fred O'Connor, based on a story they developed with Brian Nolan. The film stars Seamus Hughes (Klondike, Jimmy's Hall) and Moya Farrelly (Jack Taylor, This Is My Father).
