About this event

From the stepping stones of augmented reality to fully immersive virtual worlds, the metaverse is already firmly under construction. But at this stage in the development of the metaverse are tech companies, businesses and users working from the same blueprint? As we consider the next evolution of our digital lives, what will it take to create a metaverse that delivers value for business, secures new forms of transactions and ensures safety for all stakeholders?

Join us for an in-person event at The Dock, Accenture’s flagship R&D and global innovation centre, where a panel of experts from industry, start-ups and academia will explore key questions behind the promise – and pitfalls – of the metaverse:

  • Where are the opportunities and value-driven applications for business?
  • How is the technology ecosystem developing and coalescing?
  • What does privacy, trust and ethics look like on metaverse platforms?
