Managing your money this winter

Managing your energy bills – tackling everyday energy costs and household budgeting.

***Registration in advance is recommended but walk-ins on the day are also welcome

Join us on Thursday, 11th December from 12pm – 1pm at the Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre for a free, practical session covering the essentials of managing your money. We’ll look at basic budgeting, planning and paying for bills, understanding borrowing and interest rates, making sense of buy now–pay later options, feeding a family on a budget and smart shopping tips - all with the goal of helping you save, plan and feel more in control of your finances.

As part of the new Raytown Energy Dock, we’ll be joined by Lorraine Waters from the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) Communities who will provide guidance on:

• Basic budgeting
• Paying and planning for bills
• Borrowing
• Buy now, pay later,
• Interest rates
• Feeding a family on a budget
• Shopping tips
• All of the above with a view to helping you manage to save and plan.
