About this event
The webinar "Manufacturing & industrial insights and tendencies" is organized in 3 sessions and the speakers will interact with the participants to make them to explore the latest challenges and trends of manufacturing sector and learn how to use specific techniques in innovation projects. At the end of the sessions you will have a final interaction with the speakers and a group work about the topic and methodologies presented.
IMPORTANT: In the webinars there will be presentations from the representatives of four Estonian companies. Before the webinar, please read through the following links to get familiar with the companies. Prepare at least 3 questions for each company.

At 11:00 PM CEST: "The story of Cleveron - how an online furniture store became the innovation leader of last-mile automation", by Tanel Aruoja, from Cleveron
The participants will learn how to apply feedback analyses data from Cleveron technology innovation and business case in their next innovation projects.
The speaker:
Tanel Aruoja is manager at Cleveron, the innovation leader in creating robotics-based parcel terminals and developing last mile click and collect pickup solutions for retail and logistics sectors. Cleveron team looks for solutions to various engineering problems by using 3D modelling and testing laboratory
At 12:00 PM (noon) CEST: "Deploying Mobile Robots (Autonomous Cars) amongst Human (Crowds): Challenges and Opportunities", by Arun Kumar Singh
The participants will get latest insights about challenges and opportunities of the sector.
The speaker:
Arun Kumar Singh is associate professor of Collaborative Robotics at the University of Tartu. His research groups' main goal is to perform research into algorithmic and applied aspects of robotics (motion planning, control, and state estimation) and machine learning as applied to robotics. The team research covers a wide set of applications ranging from human-robot collaboration, robotic manipulation to autonomous driving.
