Marise Gaughan, Laura O'Mahony, Lesly Martínez and Sinead Walsh
Event Information
Description
The 19th of July sees four of Ireland's fantastic female comedians take to the Wonkiest stage in Ireland!
When Marise Gaughan first started comedy in Los Angeles in October 2016, she vowed to never lower herself to talking about sex. Now she talks about little else. That’s showbiz baby! Her style has been described as dark, honest and uncomfortable, but uncomfortable in a good way. A reviewer once wrote “she doesn’t work the room, she endures the room“. That reviewer is dead now.
Laura O'Mahony is the funniest woman in Cork. She is one third of internet sensation Cccahoots and also plays Gráinne in Bridget and Eamon. Laura is a stand-up comedian and a long time Improv Panto performer. She is only interested in all gas craic elements of life and she could take or leave the rest.
Lesly Martínez has an accent that you will fall in love with, but a tongue that could clip a hedge. This fiery Latina lady is a firm favourite amongst Cork's comedy community and has earned a reputation as sharp, hilarious and a dangerous woman to have in a room.
Sinéad Walsh is a Dublin comedian based in Cork. Her fast-paced, irreverant and hysterical stories take in everything from nature, nursing a broken heart and nanny-goat mamboing. You'll always find her in the kitchen at parties... eating and petting other people's dogs.
The fantastic Mike Morgan will be your host for the night, so you know it's going to be an absolute belter!
The Wonky Donkey lies adjacent to Holy Smoke restaurant within The Mardyke Entertainment Complex. Spoil yourself with a range of dining options. Whether it's finger food or a full-on feast, you'll be guarunteed to eat, drink and laugh your ass off.
