About this event
The New Zealand Embassy is honoured to be hosting its first celebration of Matariki - the dawning for many Māori of the New Year, heralding a time of reflection, celebration and peace.
2022 marks the first time that Matariki will be celebrated as a public holiday across New Zealand, and the Embassy is opening its door to New Zealand families and friends of New Zealand in Ireland to celebrate.
This will be a casual, family-friendly open home at Aotearoa's Residence in Dublin, with some sustenance and refreshments provided.
