Event description
A Maynooth community 'health' coffee morning for members of the public to be part of a conversation about your experiences around health

About this Event

We would like to invite members of the public to come along to our health coffee morning at Maynooth University. The focus of this event will be to gather YOUR views on health as members of the local community.

Who should come?

Anyone interested in taking part in a conversation about health can come along. You may have an illness yourself, or might have experience caring for a loved one with illness. Alternatively, you may simply have opinions relating to health and healthcare that you would like to share. Everyone is welcome, but places are limited, so registration is essential.

What will the event involve?

In small groups, you will be invited to join in a number of short conversations aimed at answering the following four questions:

1. What does health mean to you?

2. What is your experience with ill health?

3. What supports do you think can promote good health?

4. What are your hopes and concerns about your future health?

We will then collate your feedback together and use this information to help prioritise research within the Kathleen Lonsdale Institute for Human Health Research and ensure that our future health research is meaningful and valuable to the Maynooth community.
