A collaborative pre-hospital training and networking night for responders and practitioners in Co. Meath taking place in Skryne.

About this Event

This event is free to attend and is suitable for anyone over the age of 18 involved in prehospital care in Meath. Suitable for those in voluntary orgs, first responder groups, fire&rescue workers, members of the statutory services and anyone who's job or voluntary work involves care of unwell patients in Meath. *CPC certs available on the night*

The event will be hosted by the Skryne Community First Responder group and will take place in the RST Community Centre, Skryne, Co. Meath. Eircode: C15 WY90

The theme of the October meeting will be: Cardiac calls and out of hospital cardiac arrest

Timetable for the night:

1930-2000: Registration and welcome, assignment of groups.

2000-2040: Parallel sessions for different groups:

"Differential diagnosis of chest pain" and "Familiarisation with ambulance equipment" for CFR, FAR, EFR attendees.

"Paediatric cardiac arrest management and familiarisation with paramedic and AP interventions" For Practitioner levels.

2040-2105: Tea/coffee, networking

2105-2200: Practical scenarios where all different levels get to work together managing cardiac arrest patients. Participation in scenarios is voluntary. If you're more comfortable just watching, thats' no problem! As always, stations will be run in a relaxed fashion, with attendees allowed the space to be as involved as they wish. We're aiming to run a relaxed, no pressure environment, where colleagues from all backgrounds feel comfortable and confident.
