Description
Cyberspace: A New Frontier for Medicine and Law
This year the Medico-Legal Society of Ireland Academic Day 2019 will explore the developing cyberspace issues and online challenges as they affect Law, Medicine and Associated Professions. The programme addresses the impact of human behaviour on online activity,. It also embraces the problems of addiction and online bullying. It explores the challenges of maintaining security online and our responsibilities to keep information safe in the new era of GDPR compliance. Ransomware and virus attack will be examined, as will the effect of longterm exposure to the online world on our emotional development.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
GUEST & VISITOR PARKING
There is ample space for guests and visitors of King’s Inns. You can only enter the grounds of King’s inns from the Constitution Hill gates (by turning into the park at the gate lodge).
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Dublin Bus: Bus Route 83, get off on Constitution Hill (Stop No. 1613 towards City Centre / Stop No. 1619 heading away from City Centre).
Dublin Bus routes that service Dublin 7 are: 11, 11A, 13A, 16, 41, 41B, 41C, 51A, 746, 83.
Luas Red Line: Four Courts stop approx. 600m via Church St. to Constitution Hill gate.
Luas Green Line: Broadstone – DIT stop approx. 100m to Constitution Hill gate.
