Based on traditional Tibetan healing practices, and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, Kum Nye’s gentle movement and breathing exercises restore the body’s natural rhythms and calm the mind. For newer people it's a very effective gateway to meditation practice, for others a path to deepen our experience.

We will begin this morning retreat by establishing a felt-sense of what meditation really is, and then explore the ways we can bring this meditative awareness into activity and apply it in practical situations.

Resources - a follow-up email will contain the notes you need to continue the practice and feel the benefit in our everyday life.

What to Bring - Kum Nye is a slow and meditative form of yoga. It is good to wear clothing that allows free movement. Movements are standing or chair-based; if you are comfortable sitting on the floor you may like to bring your favourite cushion/mat/blanket. You may like to bring an extra pair of warm socks.
