Men on the Move - Beginners & Advanced Sessions (Waterford)

Waterford Sports Partnership is running beginner and advanced sessions ‘Men on the Move’ Programmes in Waterford on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm - 7pm for six weeks starting on Tues 23rd May.
The objective of the Men on the Move Programme is to encourage men to get more active, have fun and improve their fitness levels through twice weekly activity sessions, while having a bit of craic and making some new friends along the way.
The programme is based around mobility, flexibility, conditioning, strengthening and aerobic fitness all to suit a person’s individual fitness and needs. Participants will be tested pre and post programme on their weight, waist circumference, BMI and time to complete a one mile challenge.
Whilst the programme focuses on physical activity, it is also important to recognise the potential benefits to social and mental wellbeing - one past participant described the programme as being "simply life changing"
