Event description

Description

This five day programme is designed for administrators, directors, staff and board members of Mercy ministries and all in the Mercy family who want to deepen their grounding in the Mercy story: past, present and future. It draws on the inspiration of the founding women of Mercy as it engages with Mercy mission and leadership as lived out today.

The programme includes an extended tour of the House of Mercy, a visit to Coolock House, a walking tour of Catherine's Dublin and input on the historical situation in Ireland in the 1800s. Reflections on Mercy leadership, input and discussion on Mercy Global Action and Mercy Global Presence are core to the programme. An excursion to the monastic city of Glendalough is a particular highlight.

The staff at Mercy International Centre will lead the programme with the support of invited speakers.

Participants will be invited to identify at least one way that they can incorporate their leaning and experiences back into their ministries at the end of the programme and report back on their action within three months of completing the programme.

€620.00 (Residential, 12 places). €410 (Non-residential, 18 places)
