Cork Nature Network are delighted to host a free event on the impact of microplastics on big fishes on April 13th at 7:00 pm, on Zoom.
During this talk Dr. Alina Wieczorek will be presenting her research on microplastic interactions with whale and basking-sharks. Her research is being conducted in the Maldives and in Ireland. She will also share some first insights into how researchers can use scientific findings to inform society and stakeholders to collaboratively find solutions in order to address environmental issues such as plastic pollution.
