Microsoft Word: Everyday Documents

DCCC is delighted to offer IT training to support ELC and SAC providers at the start of the programme year 2021/2022.

This training will focus on Microsoft Word and the features needed for everyday documents.

The training will cover the following:

1. Font formatting and alignment

2. Using basic styles in a document

3. Using find and replace

4. Taking a screenshot and saving it

5. Inserting and working with images and screenshots

6. Saving a document as a PDF file

7. Using tables in a document

8. Headers and footers

Booking Criteria:

  • This event is prioritised for managers and supervisors who are working in ELC and SAC services in the Dublin City Childcare Committee catchment area.
  • If this criteria does not apply to you your booking may be cancelled.
  • Maximum booking of 2 people per service.
  • Booking is on a first come first served basis.
  • Places are limited to 12.

Our focus is to develop, support and enhance early childhood services through working proactively with early years providers, parents and related organisations. Our dedicated staff are available to answer queries related to the early years sector.


These events are exclusively for practitioners, providers and childminders working in the Dublin City Childcare Committee's catchment area.
