About this event

Mixed media artist Carmel Rudden will be sharing her bookmaking skills and the young people will learn how to make accordion books with images based around our theme.

The project aims to capture the character of Monaghan through its rolling landscape and familiar drumlin scenery alongside its growing towns, villages and communities. It will capture the young person's visual representation of their hometown, through a mixture of mediums, The young people will either choose from a selection of selected images that best describes their hometown or they can source their own image for the project in week one. The artwork will be completed over 4 weeks through 1 hour group workshops (in person) each week.

Commencing Saturday 14th May at 2.30pm.

Art Flow Studio, Garage Theatre, Monaghan.

For Young People aged 13-17 years.

Must commit to attend all four Saturdays - exhibition of work will be displayed on Cruinniú Day 11th June.
